Increasing environmental debates have filled interest in the study of literature in relation to environment and ecology. The world of literary theory in the last part of twentieth century has been marked by the emergence of many advanced approaches to reading and studying classical and modern works. One of the most recent critical perspectives to increase extensive interest is called ecocriticism. As Literature involves with life and all things in the world, it must also associate with the environment from a creative and aesthetic approach. Ecocriticism is the study of the relationship between literature and the physical environment, which requires looking at literary studies though a green lens. Both terms ‘ecocriticism’ and ‘green studies’ are used to denote a critical approach which began in USA in the late 1980s and in UK in the early 1990s. This critical field was earlier known as ‘the study of nature writing’. Thus, the study's aim is to present the effects of the green studies or ecocriticism as a remedy to nature, and changes literature and individuals positively. It sets out to raise the human consciousness of the critical environmental dilemmas, and to investigate the peculiar role of the environmental representation in literature through "Ecocriticism" or "Green Studies. In a word, the study is as a piece of awareness to humans to keep the nature preservation for the next generations.
