تناول هذا البحث المخلفات الزراعية بمحافظة کفر الشيخ – دراسة في جغرافية الاقتصادية ، فالمحافظة إحدى محافظات الدلتا التى تتسم بالخصوبة ، وتنوع مصادر المخلفات بها من مصدريها النباتي والحيواني ، فالنشاط الإقتصادى الرائج لدى سکانها هو الزراعة وتربية الحيوان ، لذلک اتسمت بتنوع المخلفات لتشمل الأتبات ، والأحطاب ، ومخلفات  محاصيل السکر ، فضلا عن تنوع الخضر ، الصيفية والشتوية ، وکذلک المحاصيل البساتنية ، فلم يخلوى أى مرکز من مراکزها من تلک الأنواع الأمر الذى يعد بمثابة فرصة لإستغلال تلک المخلفات في عمليات التدوير .
This research deals with agricultural waste in Kafr Al-Sheikh governorate - a study in economic geography, the governorate is one of the governorates of the Delta that is characterized by fertility, and the sources of waste vary from its sources of vegetables and animals, the popular economic activity of its inhabitants is agriculture and animal husbandry, and therefore characterized by the diversity of residues to include attenuations, wood, and the residue of sugar crops, as well as the diversity of summer and winter vegetables, as well as horticultural crops, so none of the centers of the governorates of these types of these types.
